Simon plays a strategic role in all our work disciplines.

Simon has a wide range of experience in employment law, business law, professional negligence, insurance law and personal injury.

As well as acting for private individuals, Simon also regularly advises businesses on strategic support and dealing with disputes that have arisen.

He also acts as a Trustee, Receiver or Financial Deputy for a number of our private clients and has a key role in the management of various Trusts.

Some of Simon’s recent cases include:

Acting for a business to defend a £3 million catastrophic injury claim and pursue a claim against the company’s insurers for refusal to indemnify and the company’s brokers for professional negligence;

Acting for a Director and Shareholder in both a contested employment claim and shareholder dispute;

Acting for a brain injured Claimant in a successful high value personal injury claim;

Acting for the Executors of an Estate in defending a claim by an estranged relative and advising on pursuit of professional negligence against deceased’s solicitors; and,

Advising a range of businesses on shareholder protection and/or HR requirements and providing ongoing support;

Educated at the University of East London and York College of Law

Simon has previously worked at Herbert Smith and Nelson and Co. He has been one of our Partners since 2001.

Aside from work, Simon’s interests include skiing, travelling and cooking.
