Good Divorce Week 2021

Good Divorce Week is an annual campaign organised by Resolution and this year, it is taking place from 29th November until 3rd December 2021.

Resolution is a community of family justice professionals who focus on working with families to promote an amicable approach to separation. Members of Resolution include solicitors, judges, family mediators and other professionals who all follow a Code of Practice promoting a constructive approach to family issues.

The separation of a family relationship can be a difficult and distressing time, particularly when there are children involved. Resolution members are keen to assist parents and families in resolving their case in a conciliatory way. Their priority is ensuring that parents embrace a child-focused approach to the separation and the processes involved.

In support of this, Resolution are kickstarting the week with the launch of the Parenting Through Separation Guide. Whether you have recently separated, or have worries that your relationship may be breaking down, the guide will provide you with information, advice and support throughout your separation The guide may not have all the answers you seek, but Resolution hope it will provide you with helpful information to find a constructive way forward in your journey.
