Are any of your staff on zero-hour contracts?

Paying Pro-rated Holiday Pay to Zero-Hours Workers is Lawful following a recent decision in ECJ which entitled employers to calculate holiday pay for workers employed on zero-hours contracts on a pro rata basis by reference to the hours actually worked.

This is  great news for employers as it makes it clear that employers only have to pay zero hour (casual workers) with pro rata statutory holiday entitlement, based on the hours actually worked.
