Oliver Cashman, having qualified in 2008 has earned a distinguished reputation as a leading authority in the fields of commercial and employment litigation. His career to date has seen him thrust in at the deep end of numerous high profile, public cases including the phone hacking scandal of 2011 as well as managing compensation claims for the many victims of Jimmy Saville.
Oliver has operated at a high level of public and corporate responsibility from the beginning of his career and continues to do so with some of Milner’s most trusted clientele.
Oliver offers a wealth of experience and understanding across a broad range of litigation, making him one of the most versatile and knowledgeable solicitors in our firm. His accomplishments and successes span a variety of disciplines including; commercial disputes, property disputes, sexual abuse claims as well as employment litigation.
As a keen sportsman, Oliver enjoys a range of activities, especially rugby. He was the captain of Yambury 1st XV from 2012 to 2016, helping to lead the team to promotion to the premier division in the Yorkshire leagues and leading them out in the final of the Intermediate Cup at Twickenham in May 2014.
