On the Public Law front, Ben has acted for respondents and participants to Independent Inquiries as well as Statutory Inquiries initiated by the Charity Commission.

The Trustees of the Ampleforth Abbey Trust v Turner & Townsend Project Management Limited  EWHC 2137 (TCC)
Acting for the Trust with Milners’ Head of Litigation, Giles Ward, this was a large Construction and Professional Negligence claim which centred on a Project Manager’s liability for failing to procure a construction contract signed by the Contractor. Issues of unfair contract terms were also relevant to the dispute.
