Victoria joined Milners in 2008 as a solicitor. At that time she specialised in asset-related recovery and dispute resolution. She acted for local, national and international companies and advised on administrations, individual voluntary arrangements, bankruptcy and winding up petitions. Darren is our newest senior recruit, joining our Corporate and Commercial teams. He has amassed over 14 years of legal expertise working with a raft of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, PLCs and the third sector - across Yorkshire and beyond. He will help to spearhead the development of our Corporate and Commercial services, as well as mentoring other members of our team. Darren performs a wide-ranging role supporting businesses on a range of legal issues. This extends to the drafting, advising upon, and negotiating company commercial agreements, including Memorandum and Articles of Association; intellectual property and software agreements; and general commercial agreements governing outsourcing and the supply of goods and services. He joins the Milners team from the Leeds office of international law firm DWF, where he was a Senior Associate. His legal CV also features roles at a brace of large regional law firms, Ison Harrison and Lupton Fawcett. A former graduate of the University of Hull and York College of Law, Darren is a keen sports player and supporter when not entertaining his two children, and has also conquered the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge several times, raising money to support the fight against cancer.Find out more
